Why Not You!?!? - Build a Business in your PJ's

This entire month I've done a lot of reflection on the last 2.5 years and how far I've come. I can clearly remember going through all of my clothes after having my gorgeous Brooklyn and nothing fitting me. It brought tears to my eyes, self doubt, and low confidence. I just wanted to be myself again. I had this gorgeous baby but I didn't feel like myself and I didn't know where to start on making the positive lifestyle changes to get where I wanted. I know all of you Mom's can relate, that after you have a baby you just want to feel like yourself again. You are grateful but you have a hard time finding the time and energy for yourself. It can be depressing and Isolating because who are you to have room to complain? I couldn't be a good Mom because I wasn't happy with MYSELF! The way you feel about yourself can absolutely affect the way you treat others.

I needed something that worked but didn't just give me a quick fix but was an entire lifestyle change. I was sick of the crash diets, the starving myself, being cranky, not having any energy, and not getting the results I want after hours of cardio each day. Thank Goodness for Google, finding a challenge group, and an awesome coach that taught me all about clean eating as well as kept me motivated.

That was where it all began!! I started my journey with Turbo Fire, Shakeology, and Clean Eating in a Closed Facebook Group. I made amazing friendships, bonded with other Mommies, completely changed the way our family ate and BOOM only 4 months later I felt like a completely different person. I doubted my ability to pass this lifestyle on to others because I lacked the confidence in myself BUT I knew that this experience had changed my life and there was no way I couldn't share this with others.

I finally felt GREAT in my own skin and confident to walk into any store and just go shopping!! I got over my fear of what others thought about me and SHARED this opportunity because I knew that this was a system that worked. I was a able to get in the best shape of my life in my own living room while my girls took a nap, chat with others who were on the same mission as me, surround myself with positive people, and a community who held me accountable to my goals.

I realized that the best way help others was for me to become a coach myself, share my results, and passion for the products with others so that they could get the same results and feel just as WONDERFUL!! Yep, I did it!! Sounds crazy and Scary .. but I became a Beachbody Coach and was on a MISSION to help others especially Mommas get healthy and Fit.
As a Mom who just moved from Australia to Hawaii, was living in a hotel with a 1 year old and a 4 year old, and was just getting settled in to a new routine I got up every single morning and stayed up late working my business. I shared my workouts, recipes, motivated others, and just shared my crazy life as a Mom who was on a mission to become a better version of myself. 

I really just wanted to inspire a few of my friends learn about eating clean and loose the baby weight. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, no idea about network marketing, blogging, or anything in depth on how to earn an income through social media. I came in with no expectations but to help others and share my own journey to keep myself motivated. I didn't start out being some big shot or knowing everything. I started out really small and just soaked up everything that I could learn about growing a Beachbody business. I started with just sharing my journey through my Facebook page and inviting family and friends to join a challenge group. The more that I got into this I realized that huge opportunities this business could provide for me and my family. We weren't struggling financially but we also couldn't afford any big extras. Living in Hawaii I knew that it was going to be difficult to afford to visit family and I could not go years with out seeing them. This really appealed to me as well as being able to help others while working on my self. 

I had no idea what I was doing! I even signed up only as a DISCOUNT COACH and had no intentions of building a business but then soon realized the potential to help others as well as provide for my family. I wanted to help others feel the same way that I did so I took my before and after pictures and shared them. 

So Here is What I did: I started out using my Facebook Page. I shared my transformation picture, each day I shared motivational quotes, nutrition tips, and recipes that I used to lose weight. Then I began to blog about all of those questions that people would ask me: How to stay on track when traveling, clean grocery store lists, snack ideas, how I plan and prep my food, and so much more. I let all my walls down and just put myself out there complex sharing my struggles and my life. Before I knew it I grew a following and people were coming to be for advice and what to do to reach their goals. Everything just kind of came together through consistency.

Coaching became something that I loved and I loved that I had the ability to make a true impact on the lives of others. The more challenge groups I ran, the more customers got results, saved marriages, and created confidence in others, the more I wanted to give my all to my groups and improve them. I wanted to help even more people and also grow and work on myself.

As a stay at home Mom it can be Isolating. It's one of the most rewarding jobs and a blessing to be able to stay home with your children but it can also be lonely. Running my challenge groups and becoming a coach allowed me to interact with other adults through out the day I was also able to help end the trend of obesity, add positivity to the world, and help support my family financially.


After about 6 months into the business I started getting the hang of running my own challenge groups and really dove into learning the business side of things. I began running new coach trainings, doing weekly team calls, creating training videos, and teaching the new coaches on my team how to successfully start their own business and do exactly what I did. Helping my coaches was just as rewarding as watching my challengers reach their weight loss goals. It felt awesome to see my coaches succeed with inviting others to their challenge groups and sharing their journey with others. It felt even better getting messages from them about what they were able to do for their family with the extra income that was earned.

I really did build my business from my kitchen table while my girls were sleeping. I would wake up early to get my workout in and check in with my challengers. When it was nap time I would log on to the computer and crush out my power hour of work, and then after I put the kids to bed I would do a little more work until bed time. I didn't want to sacrafice my kids time and wanted to be the best Mom that I could. I found my perfect balance and was able to have the best of both worlds. Of course it took some sacrifices but I wouldn't change one thing! This opportunity has truly been a huge blessing to me and my families life!

This has been such a blessing to me and my life that I truly want to help other women and get this same gift that I have received. Team Beachbody Coaching can completely change your life. It can make you a better person mentally and physically. I know in my heart that this is truly my calling in life. Exactly How to Batch Cook and Meal Prep for a Week of Clean Eating.

Sooo.. Did you know that Your Nutrition is 80% of where your results come from? I know there are some of you that are totally killing it in the gym. Come on, Cardio Queens where you at? I use to be one of you too! You can cardio your little heart out but if you aren't fueling that body with what it needs then you are wasting your time. You will never get the results you want! I know this because that use to be me. I never lifted weights and I would run through fast food after the gym or eat a big hearty cheesy meal. So I really want to teach you how to set your week up for success. 

This is one of the BIGGEST things that I stress and love teaching my customers about. Meal Prepping and Clean Eating. I share my meal plans weekly in my groups and really focus on this. It's a lifestyle not a DIET! That should be what your focus is. Enjoying your favorites here and there but ultimately living a healthy life that you can easily maintain. I know that we all live busy lives so this makes things so much easier. Doing it once every week or even ever two weeks is going to make your life so much easier, keep you on track, and will save you money. OKAY, did I catch your attention now? ha ha ha 

I normally reserve Sunday's for Meal Prepping and Batch cooking. 



Alright so I'm going to teach you step by step how to prepare your week. This is just what I do but you will get a really good idea on how to prep your week so it's simple to just grab and go. 

Here is what you need to go to the grocery store for: 

Several Packs of Chicken Breast 
Lean Ground Turkey
Eggs 
Bag of Fish either Salmon or Tilapia 
You could also do a bag of Frozen Shrimp

You can do Fresh Veggies or Do Frozen. 
I mix it up. 
I normally have 
Fresh Asparagus 
Fresh Brussels Sprouts
Zucchini
Spaghetti Squash
Baby Spinach
-Honestly Just depends on my menu plan for the week on which I choose- 
Then I'll always grab some frozen Green beans, Stir Fry Veggie Mix, and Peas
If you want to do an egg white omelet 
Mushrooms, Peppers, Onions or Egg Muffins.

Apples
Strawberries
Blueberries 

Brown Rice
Quinoa 
Sweet Potatoes

Coconut Oil
Mrs dash Seasonings
Cayenne Pepper
Cumin
Chili Powder
Tin Foil 

How to meal prep for clean eating

1. You want to take a large baking sheet and cover it with tin foil 
This is where you are going to grab your chicken breasts and lay them out on the pan. 
Grab your favorite salt free seasonings and season front then flip and do the other side. 

2. Pre Heat the Oven to 350 and bake for about 30-40 mins until tender. You don't want to over cook. You can use a meat thermometer if you need so you don't over cook it. You want your meat to be nice and juicy.

3. While that is cooking, You are going to grab your brown rice. There are Two Ways you can do this
If you have a rice steamer you can load that baby up according to the directions and your rice will just easily cook on it's on. You can add in some fresh herbs to the steamer and it will be delicious. If you don't have a rice steamer you can do this in a pot on the stove. Follow the directions on the bag for water to rice ratio. You want to make a pretty big batch so you have enough for the week or if you are doing two weeks for two weeks. Let the water boil and then add in your rice once boiled.

4. Remember to keep an eye on those chicken breasts, you even may have to suction out some of the juice so it doesn't overflow in to your oven. 

5. It's time to grab another big deep pan and get all of your ground turkey. Toss it into the pan and cook until browned. You can season again with any non salt seasonings. Once done drain out any grease. 

6. Last but not least you have your Sweet Potatoes. You want to scrub these and wash really well. Grab a baking sheet and throw them on and in the oven. These will take a bit of time. Probably about an hour to cook. Just keep an eye and poke holes. Once tender all the way through they will be done.

This is what our chicken and sweet potatoes will look like when they are all done. Right when you grab your sweet potatoes out of the oven slice them down the middle so they can cool down. Your rice should be finishing up too. But be sure to put your rice on at the beginning because it does take some time to cook. 

7. Once everything cools down it's time to portion it all out and bag it up so you can grab and go. 
Grab your chicken breasts and slice it all up in to bite sized peaces. Grab a cutting bored and get to town. You will have a big bowl of sliced up chicken chunks. that you can just portion out and put in baggies. I use the 21 Day Fix Menu plan in all of my challenge groups and this program comes with portion control containers. This is what I use to portion out my food. So you are going to grab your red container and just start scoop out of your chicken and ground turkey and bagging up each individual portion. That's your protein for the week. If you are doing two weeks you can freeze the other week and then thaw out at the end of week 1. 

After your sweet potatoes cool down you will scoop the filling out of the skins and use your yellow container to portion and baggy up. Grab your brown rice and portion out with your yellow container as well and baggy. These are your healthy crabs for the week. 

Veggies are in the freezer ready to just grab and you will use your green to portion that out.

Place all your baggies in plastic containers so you can just grab. I baggy all of my chicken and then put it in a container so i can just grab each one. 


This is how I stay on track when i'm traveling, visiting family, or visiting friends. You just pack your food and bring it with you. Super simple. It will change your life! 

My Favorite dish with this is to grab my chicken, sweet potato, peas, or sautéed spinach in coconut oil, and add a blue container of avocado and some hot sauce. Seriously Delish. It's great with Brown Rice too. It's like a Mexican bowl you could do a taco salad too with the ground turkey. So many ideas with it all prepped and ready to go. 



That's pretty much it! Turn up some tunes or put on your favorite movie and spend the next hour or two setting your week up for success! You got this ... You can totally do this! Your life will be CHANGED and you will feel amazing.

Transformation Tuesday -- Challenger 21 Day Fix Success Stories!

Guess what!??! It's Transformation Tuesday and I have a group of challengers that just finished their first round of the 21 day fix! They pretty much blew my mind when the transformation stories and pictures started to fill the newsfeed of our closed group. AMAZING and all in only 21 days, that's only three weeks people!! I absolutely love the 21 day fix, it's one of my all time favorite programs. I think it's GENIUS and how fool proof everything is. There is a perfect mix of intensity, cardio, and strength training in the program and modifications for any fitness level. Plus you get these little portion control containers and a nutrition guide which makes it super simple to follow.

I have to say these ladies are pretty SMOKING and AMAZING!! I mean all it takes is a little hard work, dedication, commitment!! We were all in this together. We posted our sweaty pictures in our group, I shared my menu plans weekly and helped them get their menu plans together, we posted pictures, and checked in daily. It's always a good time in my challenge groups. It's all about support and accountability. The ones that got the results were the DEDICATED ones that checked in and brought it every single day!!! So proud of these ladies!!

Challenger and New Coach on Team Fit Fighters, Brittany totally crushed her first round of the 21 Day Fix in our Fit For Fall Focus Group. 10 pounds down and 6 inches. Had a few set backs but she is up and running and GIVING IT HER ALL THIS NEXT ROUND! That's really what it's all about, not perfection but the fact that you NEVER GIVE UP!! Congrats Brittany. It's too good not to share. I mean guys, this is THREE WEEKS! Where will you be in three weeks!??! That's NOTHING, blink of an eye. It's amazing how much you can change when you surround yourself with uplifting people and put your mind too. I'm so PROUD of each and everyone!!! This is just a few of the MANY transformations that happen on a daily basis in our groups!!

21 Day Fix Transformations

YEP ... It's #transformation tuesday people!! That means it's time to take a look at how all my 21 day fix challenge groups are doing and share with you some of their results. At one point I had about 4 Fix challenge groups going and ROCKING it out!! I love this program and it's totally changed so many of my challengers lives. It's crazy how much your body can change and respond in only 21 days when you are using portion control and clean eating. I think that most people think of when they hear the 21 day fix is "oh, that's just a QUICK FIX" well answer is NO. The principals taught in this program are principals you will always keep with you. You are being taught proper portion control and also gives you a variety of food to choose from to form balanced meals that your whole family will love. I make chicken and shrimp stir fry that the entire family loves, grilled fish, turkey burgers with sweet potatoes but am able to give myself the correct portions. I can even have my properly portioned wine. I love how EASY it is and it really is a great tool for anyone that is in need of some serious guidance in clean eating or wanting to learn how to use portion control.

Not only do you get an amazing nutrition plan to get you on track but you also get 21 Days worth of 30 minute workouts that includes a schedule of exactly what to do. It's literally no brainer, you just have to #pressplay and do it. All you need to do is give me THREE MONDAYS, No need to spend hours in the gym. Just 30 minutes a day for 21 days. I seriously love Autumns workouts!! They totally keep me engaged, excited every time, and I am literally spent after most workouts. It really is a great workout in the amount of time you are given. There are all different levels to follow so that this program can really work for everyone. 

So how do people get such great results with this program !?!? Well when you combine a whole body workout program and a great nutrition plan PLUS the support/encouragement from my challenge groups you get amazing SUCESS!! I have some customers that have been in my challenge groups for at least 6 months lost 50 pounds but were stuck and weren't seeing results. Something had to change, and as soon as they started the fix ... BOOM 10 pounds lost! It seriously is great for getting out of those plateau's. I am seeing customers totally change their lifestyle, learn how to prep their meals, and really learn about proper nutrition. I enjoy the pictures they post daily and it really gives me chills to see how amazing this program is working for others. I got the chance to tell Autumn personally on the Success Club Trip how amazing her program has been working for my customers. My challengers don't just quit at day 21 most of them are doing it over and over again or pairing the nutrition plan up with other workout programs. It's really where their weight loss and healthy journey is beginning.

This transformation above is proof that just because these scale doesn't move does NOT mean that you aren't getting results. Michelle actually gained 3 pounds but lost inches obviously. Throw that scale away and realize that you are replacing muscle with fat and it weighs more!

This lady above totally motivated the entire group and made amazing progress. I loved the meals that she posted and what she had to share with the group. She posted her accountability pictures and shared with us how she put her meals together. Here is an example below.

Each of these challengers committed to following the 21 Day program using the nutrition plan, workout plan, and replacing one meal a day with Shakeology. Most of my challengers decided on doing another round of The 21 Day Fix or have decide to use the Fix nutrition plan and start a new Beachbody program.

New Year New You Challenge Group Open Now

I almost can't believe it but half of January is already GONE and Valentines is on it's way. If this year is anything like last year, it's going to FLY by. I just got back from spending a month with my family in Texas and had a wonderful time. It was one of the best Christmas's ever! Our whole family was able to be together at my aunt and uncles lake house. But it's officially over and I have so much to be thankful for in 2013. I can't wait to bring in 2014 even stronger. I am thinking and brainstorming of ways that I can make my challenge groups even BETTER and give even more to help others achieve their goals. I'm putting together new and improved groups this year and excited for all my new challengers!! We aren't playing around this year. So, I am INVITING YOU to be apart of this new system!! 



What is a health and fitness challenge!? 
It's a program that I've created to help you achieve all of your health and fitness goals by receiving daily motivation, accountability, and support through a closed online group. This year will NOT be the year that you are WISHING you started LAST MONDAY, WISH your close Fit better, or HATE SHOPPING! You will learn to be CONFIDENT, LOVE YOUR BODY, & BE HEALTHY! This year you will be making your New Years Resolution and STICKING TO IT! We always start out strong DAY ONE of the New Year !! We eat healthy all week long, go to the gym every single day, and stay on track for the first few weeks. After the excitement of reaching your goals has died down you slowly fall back into your old ways. You eat less healthy meals and do less workouts. Excuses being to creep in and you just decide that it's not worth it - YOU ARE NOT WORTH IT and it's TOO good to be TRUE! 

How do I know this!?! Because year after year after YEAR .. this was me!!! <---- 
I would sign up for an expensive gym membership, personal training sessions, and online nutrition programs. I started out strong the first few weeks and then decided that I just couldn't do it. It all became overwhelming. I would go to classes at the gym every now and then but excuses would always win because I just didn't see the results I was hoping for. 


So here is where I come in and where I say - THIS YEAR WILL BE DIFFERENT FOR YOU! I'm not going to let you make the same mistakes I did for years and years for ANOTHER YEAR! Definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. 
It's time for a change!! I truly LOVE Beachbody because it takes the guess work out of everything. For years I struggled on the question of if I was really doing it right. Was I doing the right workouts, was I eating the right things, and was I doing enough. WIth this you don't have to think about anything. IT's all given to you. There are so many programs to meet all needs and likes. If you like high intensity cardio and dancing there is something for you!! If you like boot camp style, we got that. If you want short and sweet, we have that too. If you are looking for a beginner level program to just get you started, YEP, got that too. All you do is press play and follow the trainer. They give you a schedule of workouts that will give you the best possible results. No matter what you are looking for I know that I can find your SOUL MATE workout and hook you up with something you will LOVE! 


The part that most people struggle with is the nutrition part of the plan. 80% of your results come from nutrition. Abs are made in the kitchen. Nutrition was always the part that confused me and  would get frustrated because I couldn't figure out just exactly what I needed to eat and would just give up. There are so many "diets" "quick fixes" and meals that claim to be healthy but really aren't. I lived in Smart One frozen meals, healthy choice meals, and light versions of the real thing. This is what MOST of us fuel our body with, boxed meals that claim to be low on calories but what they mask is the high sodium and non nutritional value they contain. I would workout like crazy doing tons of cardio but could never get the results I wanted because I didn't have that perfect balance. Something needed to change and that is when I decide to look up clean eating. The moment I changed my diet, meal planned, and embraced the lifestyle of eating clean, EVERYTHING CHANGED! I felt better, had more energy, lost weight, had more definition, and was loosing weight. I could actually EAT instead of live on one slim fast a day and a salad. Since that day that I decided to change my goal has been to share this knowledge with others and show you that you don't have to starve to get the results you want and teach people how to eat clean and create their own weekly meal plans.

The last part of this equation is Shakeology. It's not a weight loss shake but it's a total meal replacement shake. It's not a protein shake but a well balanced meal that is equivalent to 6 salads in one glass. I use to be hungry all the time because I wasn't fueling my body with the proper nutrition. It's now the one thing that keeps me full, tastes so YUMMY, and has saved me so many times from making bad decisions. When I craved something bad, was on the go, or didn't have time to make a meal .. Shakeology was my saving grace. I use to take a trip through the drive thru when I was on the go and starving but now I just pack my shaker cup, scoop of shakeology, and a bottle of water and shake it up and I'm all set. I have more energy, I feel better, my skin is clearer, I look better, and it's been worth every single penny!! It keeps me healthy and is one meal I can count on to give me the nutrition my body needs and I don't even have to think about it. I have reached my weight loss goals and still drink Shakeolgoy daily because it gives my body the nutrition it needs while maintaing my weight loss goals. 


I also provide you with a closed online accountability group. This is where you will have access to me as your coach 24/7. We all start our workouts on the same day, check in to the group daily, and have my support/motivation/tips every day. Every day that you log into the group there will be a tip, recipe, motivation, or some information given from me. I will teach you everything to ensure your success: Creating meal plans, handling temptations, traveling, eating out, cravings, and more!!
