Final Week of PIYO - Meal Plan and Progress

Alright so I'm officially DONE with PIYO!! I'm sure you are wondering what I thought and what my results were. I have to admit that I wasn't super strict with my portions so I didn't get the results I hoped for but I will say that my core is SO much more stronger. My abs feel AMAZING!!

It's crazy to think how far I've come in my journey since just starting out 2 years ago. I've some so far and with each and every Beachbody program that I do, I get closer and closer to my goals. Of course once you get down to loosing the last few pounds it starts getting tougher. That's why I totally plan on getting back on it with the 21 day fix and getting my portions in check. I do plan on having a little pumpkin here and there after my strict 21 days but I will be mindful of my portions. Instead of gaining inches this holiday season i'm keeping what I got and loosing a few, too!! That's what I love about this whole thing. Is that whatever my goals are I can just pull a program off the self and
 ROCK IT OUT! I never have to second guess exactly what I should be eating, how much, or what workouts I should be doing. I have it all here and the support of my challenge groups!! 

I'm telling you...... Once you join one of my challenge groups and discover the awesomesuace of Beachbody products you ain't ever going back!! :)

So this is what the workouts are this week. I decided to finish up on week 7 and get going with the 21 Day Fix since I have exactly 21 days until Beachbody Leadership in Scottsdale, AZ. Pretty excited to shape and tone up. I know the fix will do it. Piyo gave me great results and I loved doing it. I totally feel a difference but I just partial to the 21 day fix. Here is my meal plan that I used last week. Honestly is the only way a busy woman is going to stay on track. Whether you work full time, are a stay at home momma, or are just always on the go. You totally need to plan out your week for success. I even like to lay out my workout clothes ever night so I can just grab and go in the morning and get it knocked out. 

Planning is PLANNING FOR SUCCESS. Failure to PLAN is PLANNING FOR Failure! SO what's it going to be busy ladies!??!

I love Piyo and plan on mixing it up with other programs in the future to keep my core in tune and my flexibility. 

I enjoyed this workout so much and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a low impact workout but AMAZING results.

Piyo Week 6 - Meal Plan and Progress Update



Happy Monday!

It's time to get back on track! I've totally been slacking these last few weeks with getting in my workouts and giving my all. So here I am starting FRESH with Week 6 and giving this week my all! My meals will be prepped and ready to go and I know that I'm going to crush this. But even though I totally feel off track and like i'm slacking in the food and workout department I've been getting compliments that I look thinner!! YAY! That's always a win.

Sometimes I put so much work in to my challengers a coaches that I put myself on the back burner. TISK TISK - SO this week i'm MAKING SURE that I give myself that time because I know it's important. I preach all the time about having that "ME" time so time to practice what I Preach!

Piyo Sweat has to be one of my favorite workouts because just like it says I SWEAT!! Love a good sweat session. It shows me that It's WORKING! Of course getting new workout clothes always motivates me too. This is a new workout outfit from TJ MAXX - My all time favorite place to shop for my workout gear. Cheap, name brand, and cute! Reward yourself with new workout clothes every time you reach a goal.


I got most of my things to prep for the week but need to go to the grocery story and grab a few things. My husband worked yesterday so this week is a PREP MONDAY! However, I did have my Shakeolgoy for Breakfast and Greek Yogurt for a snack and getting ready to have my salad for lunch. 

Totally going in full force prep mode - Maybe i'll share some pictures with you guys in my next blog post :) 

I know that prepping can be a struggle for a lot of people. It's hard to know exactly what to eat, when to eat it, what to pair it with, and how much to eat. I totally want to help you take the thinking out of it and just DO IT! It really is quite easy once you get the hang of it.

Post 4th of July 3 Day Refresh & Clean Eating Support/Accountability Group

This last week Monday - Wednesday I committed to the 3 Day Refresh and got amazing results! I was down 3.5 pounds, felt amazing, had more energy, and was totally back on track after a couple of weeks indulging on vacation and just being plain lazy.

I know that the 4th of July has hit and a lot of you spent the entire weekend eating tons of goodies. I'll admit it, I totally had some treats on the 4th but since I did the refresh at the beginning of the week I knew that I didn't want to hurt all of my bad work and it was really easy for me to get back on track. The week before that, NO WAY! I was totally off track and didn't know how to get back. I was having some pretty fierce cravings.

I know how easy it is to back slide and get off track of your clean and healthy eating - Because I've been there. It only takes a couple of times drinking with friends, going out for ice cream, going out to dinners, birthday parties, ect. and before you know it your pants don't fit right, your sluggish, have lack of energy, and are bloated.

Honestly, you can workout and workout and workout but it's not going to make it go away. Anyone can workout but nutrition is really where the results are.

So, this is exactly why I'm excited about the next challenge group I'm opening up just for those of you who are ready to spend 30 days with me and get back on track.

Clean Eating Meal Ideas - Clean Eating Made SIMPLE!





All the time I get people coming to me for ideas on what to have as snacks and breakfast that is clean and healthy. 

MOST of the time people are looking for breakfast ideas because of a few reasons. Ask your self which category you fit in? 

1. They Skip Breakfast and are looking for something quick to have. 

2. Don't have time to make breakfast in the morning so instead go through a drive through or grab donuts at the office. 

3. Aren't really sure what is healthy, clean, or good for you so they have cereal or pre packaged meals. 


So which one do you fit in!?!? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so seriously make sure you prep your breakfasts, wake up earlier to cook something, or invest in Shakeology
My favorite and what I recommend to all of my challengers for either Breakfast or Lunch!! Sometimes even DINNER! It's a nutrition, meal replacement, shake that is equal to over 7 trips to the salad bar but taste like desert!!

So here are my breakfast ideas! I hope this helps you when you are meal planning for the week!! It's so important to eat right when you wake up to rev up your metabolism and get your body burning calories.

At lunch time I normally keep it pretty simple. I'll eat something left over from the night before.

A lot of people only eat 3 meals a day IF THAT! I have to tell you that you can just as much hurt your self by eating too much by not eating enough. Part of the reason you might not be losing weight but eating healthy is because you aren't eating enough. Snacks keep your metabolism going all day long to continue burning calories and building muscle. It also helps maintain your sugar levels and prevent you from overeating at meal time. 
I know that most offices keep a ton of goodies around and have vending machines but the biggest tip that I could give you is PACK YOUR MEALS AND SNACKS!! Stay away!! 
If you want to see results, feel better, have more energy, and live longer ... Pack your meals and eat clean!

P90X3 Week 3 & 4 Update and Progress

Seriously, where do the weeks go!?!? I feel like this program just flies by. My Challengers in my test group are already past day 60 and on their last 30 days!! The weeks just fly on by!! I am totally seeing results with this program and feeling stronger each and every day. The workouts are totally challenging me in all the right ways. Right when I feel like I have the workout mastered I add on weights or the schedule gets switched up and I'm back to being challenged again. That's exactly how I like it and know that it's working me in all the right ways. 

I'm following the classic schedule and weeks 1-3 you stick with the same schedule!! So i've been following this same schedule of workouts for the last 3 weeks - Love Hate Relationship for sure!!

I totally LOVED this week and am so ready to change it up in week 4!! This is one of my favorite programs for sure! I love how strong and lean I feel and Tony seriously cracks me up!! 



I'm totally seeing some definition happening in my abs, arms, and legs. We only have less than a month till our success club cruise and I'm so excited for this!! I want to feel confident in my bikini, so there is no time to MESS AROUND!! It's on!! 


My Meal Plan isn't anything special. Same as it always is!! Complex Carb + Protein and limited to 2 starchy carbs a day. I have my Shakeology every morning for breakfast!! Quick easy and out the door! It's game on this week! I got my menu ready to go and I ROCKED IT! You can find all the clean eating recipes on the tab on my blog.

Every day for breakfast you can see that I drink my Shakeology.  I am slightly addicted to chocolate Shakeology because I love chocolate and it is my one sweet fix. I shake it up with water and ice most of the time and it's easy when I'm in a rush or just want something quick to make.

I was late on blogging so had to blog Week 3 and 4 together!! Week 4 is amazing!!! It's called the transition phase and it's such a "break" from the last three weeks of butt kicking. Oh and just because I say REST doesn't mean it was easy .. I still worked on core, stability, more cardio, and lots of stretching. I wasn't so great at holding the moves. I'm glad i'm able to do it where no one can see me because WOW I am not good at balancing myself but I know that it will only get better. I was sore form all of the different poses but it was a good sore.

Day 1 was Isometrix

Isometrix- was a total challenge for me and holding the moves was not really my strong suite but I did it and made it work and it challenged me in a good way. 

Dynamix - Is all about slowing down breathing and stretching  Not really my cup of  tea but I got it done and didn't skip it.

Accelerator - SERIOUSLY kicked my Butt and one of my Favorite workouts!! FAVORITE! 

Pilates X - Is a total body workout and I was so sore it hurt to laugh!! I rocked it but WOW was I challenged but it felt good. 

CVX - I love cardio with weights because even though the workouts are only 30 minutes long you are seriously getting a rocking workout. I'm always dripping in sweat and feeling awesome after this workout. Feels great to mix the best of both worlds to get a whole body workout. 

Yoga - This workout allows me to slow down a bit, get some good core and stretching in, and come out feeling in tune with my body! I always feel fresh and ready to take on the day. It may seem like it isn't a good workout but I always come out feeling sore the next day. 

DAY 7 is always my rest day and my day to nap, relax, and prep for a new week.

And of course i'm going to share my meal plan with you because that's how I do things! I plan so that I'm not stressing what we are going to eat, so that the house is always full of healthy eats, and so that being busy and unplanned doesn't become an excuse for getting off track. It makes life simple and else stressful. I love my sunday meal planning and teach my challengers to do the same.

Clean Eating Monday - Week worth of Clean Eating Dinner Recipes !!


So, I haven't done this in awhile but these clean eating dinner menu's are one of the most popular posts on my blog so I wanted to bring in this monday with a week full of clean eating dinners that you can use. Make big batches to have for lunches and be set up for the entire week. It's so important to eat 5-6 small meals a day so that you can keep your metabolism running and a FAT burning machine!!! I also like to follow the clean eating diet so most of my meals eliminate a lot of processed extras.

I know how frustrating it can be in the beginning when choosing what is "bad" vs "good"!

So here is a weeks worth of clean dinners Monday-Friday. I normally have ONE cheat meal a week or "happy" meal as I like to call it. Where I eat what I want. ONLY ONE MEAL though!! I enjoy it and then move on!! I don't crazy bingeing either. I simply just have a meal, glass of wine, dessert. Something along those lines.

Monday - Spaghetti Squash and Turkey Meat Sauce I normally pair this with a spinach salad!! Spaghetti always tastes good with a good garden salad to pair it with. 

Tuesday- Clean Tomato Soup This is good ALLL on it's own!! SERIOUSLY! Amazing! 

Wednesday - Thai Chicken Meatballs This is one of my favorite meals and it totally feels like you are charting so watch your portion control here. 

Thursday - Creamy Taco Soup THE BEST!!! Try it NOW! 

Friday - Pita Pizzas Simple yet so delicious Top as many veggies as you want on this baby. I love adding feta instead of reg cheese along with mushrooms and spinach.

T25 / Body Pump Update - My Workout plan and Menu Plans

WOO ... So my Workout Routine has changed so much over the last few weeks!! I started out after my Half Marathon jumping back into T25 and then wanted to add in some weights so added in Body Pump. I really love T25 because of the quick workouts. I love that I can just jump in there and get a really good workout in only 25 minutes. The workouts are great, to the point, and just when I'm starting to get tired Shaun T comes out with "TIME". I love taking this workout on vacation with me too because anyone can fit a 25 min workout in while traveling. It sounds crazy that you can really get results in only 25 minutes but my challengers are getting amazing results with this program. I also wanted to add in Body Pump because I absolutely love it and needed to add in some weight training. I love the music in Body Pump and the workouts range from 20 minutes to 55. So works perfect for me. Most of my workouts the weeks I worked out were 30 - 45 mins long with weight training. 

It's been so hard getting motivated lately because of the holidays but I refuse to give up on myself and go back to my old ways. I know the longer that I stay out of working out the easier it is to slip back into my lazy ways. So I tell myself "It's worth it" and look up some motivational sayings on Pinterest and JUST DO IT!! 


I do have to say that this plan only lasted a few weeks and I decided to do The Ultimate Reset with a group of my coaches. I have lost a total of 6 lbs between T25/Pump and The Reset. I went from 135 - 129. I feel amazing. I am the smallest I have ever been and not only that I feel CONFIDENT! I feel like I can rock any outfit!! I love going shopping!! I love hearing "you look great" "have you lost weight" "you don't need to loose anymore weight". It totally makes EVERYTHING worth it!! Nothing can replace that feeling.

I did another random week of T25 and Body Pump since I knew I was going to jump into the Ultimate Reset!! 

This is my second time doing The Ultimate Reset and I have a CONFESSION to make ... I had to quit the reset a WEEK early. BOO!! I beat myself up about but I came home to visit my family a week earlier then expected and It was just too hard with out a car to go get my groceries and my normal routine. Not saying it's not impossible but for me at the moment it was causing too much stress to stay on track so I just decided I'll finish out my supplements. Use the same Meals and just do my best! 
I did run 5 miles last night and it felt GREAT! I haven't worked out in weeks since I started the Reset. 
I did do The Ultimate Reset a year ago and lost 11lbs. This time I lost 2. I didn't have as much to loose but I do feel like I was able to get back on track with my eating. Say not to cravings and gave up my addiction to Caffeine. I have more energy. So all in all it was totally worth it again.

Next up is P90X3 and I'm pretty much Stalking the Mail Man for it! I'm visiting family until the 14 of January. So i'm going to be starting while I'm here. I'm going to go out and grab the over the door clip to put your bands on to do the Pull Up's and a few single weights. -------------------------> Here is the over the door attachment you can get instead of getting a full pull up bar. Great when you don't have much space or aren't ready for pull ups. You can find this at Wal-Mart or Target. I'm so excited to get started with this program because it's only 30 minutes a day. EKKK I've stayed away from the other P90X videos (even though I really wanted to do them) because of the time. The workouts are 1 1/2 hours and I just didn't have that kind of time or desire to workout. So I'm so glad the fitness God's answered my prayers. P90X in 30 min form. WOO HOO! This is my current picture after the Reset!! I feel great but I know that I'm not perfect and there is no such thing as perfect. I'm doing this to be HEALTHY and FIT ... That means SO MUCH MORE then just being SKINNY!
